would的用法说明

would(Britain)：[wud] would(US)：[wud]，在陈述语气中，表示过去将来时，表示有意识的行动或意志，常用于间接引语中)将;要;偏要;愿。

　　【一、基本用法】

1. (用于构成过去将来时)将，会：

You said you would be free that night. 你说那晚上你有空。

2. (表示愿意)想要，愿意：

She would do anything for her parents. 她愿意为她父母做任何事。

3. (表示推测)大概，或许，会：

You wouldn’t recognize the place now—it’s changed so much. 你现在可能认不出这地方了，它的.变化太大了。

4. (表示请求或提议)请，…好吗：

Would you please translate this letter for me? 你给我翻译这封信行吗?

5. (表示过去习惯)常常，总是：

When he was young he would often walk in these woods. 他年轻时常在这些树林里散步。

6. (用于虚拟条件句的主句)会：

If I were in your position，I would accept their offer. 如果我处于你的地位，我会接受他们的条件。

1. would表示习惯，只用于指过去;若表示现在的习惯，则用will。(参见will)

2. 表示推测、请求、提出看法或询问情况时，属表示委婉语气的用法，从时间上看它并不一定指过去：

London wouldn’t suit her. 伦敦对她不会合适。

You’d like some tea, wouldn’t you? 喝点茶好吗?

Would Sunday night suit you? 星期天晚上适合你吗?有时可视为一种省略的虚拟语气，如Father wouldn’t allow it可视为是下面一句的省略：

Father wouldn’t allow it if you asked him. 你要是问父亲，他是不会允许的。
