一、评分标准
汉译英部分有其详细的评分原则，了解这些评分原则对我们解答试题，取得高分有很大的帮助。
(1)整体内容和语言均正确，得1分。
(2)结构正确，但整体意思不确切、信息不全或用词不当，得0.5分。
(3)整体意思正确但语言有错误，得0.5分。
(4)整体意思完全错误，即使结构正确也不得分。
(5)大小写错误及标点符号忽略不计。

答案及解析:
87. Thanks to aseries of new inventions. 考察固定搭配thanks to , a series of, 其中发明一词很简单, 考生肯定都知道是invention, 但关键在于它跟在a series of的后面, 表达复数概念, 因此要用复数形式。
88. I get tiredmore easily than before/ I have been more likely to get tired than before. 本题考查的是表语从句, 描述的是说话人目前的状态, 可以使用一般现在时或者现在完成时, 考查点之二是比较级, 形容词副词的比较级一直是四级翻译中一个常考的知识点。

三、题型特点及应试技巧
四级考试中翻译部分的主要考查点, 考查方式主要有以下特点:
从形式上看四级翻译是只翻译半句, 而不是整个句子。
2. 大学英语大纲要求的核心词汇和词组是翻译考试出题的重点之一。主要考点为：
(1)语法考点。侧重点是虚拟语气、倒装结构、从句、非谓语动词(动名词、过去分词、独立主格)等。
(2)核心动词和动词短语的考查。
(3)固定搭配。主要是名词与动词搭配、形容词与名词搭配、动词与副词修饰关系、名词与介词搭配、固定词组及固定表达等。
3. 尽管试题要求学生仅翻译半句，但是学生万万不可仅看汉语就进行翻译，而是要仔细看清楚题目中提供的前半句，因为考点往往隐藏在里面。如2006 年6 月第89题The professor requiredthat .. ( 我们交研究报告) by Wednesday . 本题主要考查动词require 的用法, 其后接宾语从句时, 从句要使用should型虚拟语气, 即requirethat sb. ( should) do sth. ; 另外还要注意词组“上交”应为hand in。因此该题的答案为we ( should) handin our research report( s)。如果学生考虑不周全，很容易翻译成一般过去时态或者是将来时态。
因此考生在考试和平时学习中要注意以下几个方面:
做题时学生要胆大心细，小心谨慎。准确把握所考查的知识点或语法点。
在平时的学习过程中，学生要针对考试中的常考知识点、语法点着重进行复习，以达到在考试中能够熟练灵活应用的目的。
