Why rooster sings “go, go, go ……”every day?
Do you know why? Now I tell you a story about it. :)
Long ago, rooster, dragon and centipede were very close friends. They played together gladly everyday. Among three good friends, rooster was the most charming guy. He had rare horn and golden scute mantle. He still had a nice voice and sung sings every day for his friends. He was the pride of his friends. Dragon was ugly but he can say out a flower.
One day, the Jade Emperor show out a notice to choose governor for sea. When dragon saw this, he thought it was maybe a chance for him. So he wanted to have a try, but he was so ashamed for his ugly and afraid to face other antagonists. He was unhappy all day long and didn’t go out to play with his friends. Next day, rooster and centipede came to see dragon and ask him why not went out all day long. Poor dragon let out a sigh, but when he put up his head to see rooster, he suddenly had a good idea. He saw his friend rooster excitedly and asked for him to lend his golden mantle and beautiful horn to him. But rooster cherish them very much, and always prided of them. So he was sorry for dragon not to accept his request. Then dragon requested a help to his anther friend centipede and ask for him to persuade rooster. Centipede talked to rooster and showed the close friendship of them and assured him that dragon must give back his clothing. If anything happened out of thought, rooster could ask for him.
After an aboil competition, dragon had become the king of sea. When he lived in the beautiful palace under the bottom of the sea and enjoyed the underlings compliment, he began fearing to face anyone with his primary visage. Through one day thinking, he decided not to return the accouterment to his friend. And then he had never to go out of the sea.
When rooster knew all the things, he was very angry. But he had no any idea to replevy his treasure, because he couldn’t swim in the water. He hated dragon and abused him as a dog. He also hated his anther friend centipede, because he also disappeared from his sight. But centipede couldn’t swim in water too, he only could hidden in a corner. But rooster could find it and eaten it to clam down his angry heart.
From then on, rooster abused dragon as a dog, because the word dog in Chinese is called “gou”, so he shouts “gou, gou, gou ” to the east sea everyday. And rooster also becomes the natural enemy of centipede.
