维克托雨果，是我初中时耳闻，但直到高中才开始阅读他的书，那本《悲惨世界》是我开始深入了解他的一个开端，在我花将近一个月的时间读完《悲惨世界》之后，我又去看了看《巴黎圣母院》，在我看完之后，一种“经典不愧是经典”的感慨油然而生，他不同于其他现代作者的写作风格，给了我一种“只可意会，不可言传”的感觉。
怎么说呢，这两个作者，一个美化社会的阳光面，一个揭露社会的阴暗面，一个教我看见未来的美好，一个提醒我不要忘记过去的惨痛。
