“家园只有一个，地球不能克隆”这句话说的十分正确。是的，我们的家园只有一个，保护和爱护家园是我们大家的责任。可有人，却故意去破坏环境，伤害我们的家园，伤害我们的地球母亲。

在大年初一那一天，我们去市民广场玩，当时我以为自己走错了地方：往日那里绿草如茵，时不时还能看见花蝴蝶在五彩缤纷的花丛中穿梭着，翩翩起舞着；人们则会坐在石凳上聊天享受着舒适的日光浴；周围的'一切是那么的整洁舒畅。

如诗如画的景象顿时灰飞烟尽。那天的市民广场人山人海，地面铺上一层厚厚的五颜六色地毯——全是垃圾，而这些垃圾给清洁工们增加繁重的工作量。在那里，我还看见了很多只久违的苍蝇、蚊子也过来凑热闹，现在可是大冬天。草地上也布满了垃圾，一阵风吹来，垃圾就到处飞扬，臭气装满了整个广场，简直就是垃圾场。

现在，腊梅花已经露出了灿烂的笑脸，与此同时，地上的小草也正在拼命探出嫩绿的脑袋。而人们为了欣赏腊梅花，却忽视了地上的小草，乱扔垃圾的同时还脚脚践踏着它们，有些人还摘几朵腊梅花拿在手里玩耍或拍照，真是让人忍无可忍。

With the improvement of our living standard，more and more people can afford a car。 As a result，our roads are more often than not crammed with cars。 However，with more and more waste gas being discharged by the cars，the problem of air pollution bees even more serious。 So nowadays we advocate to lead a low-carbon life.

My suggestion is we should ride bikes more often instead of driving cars。By riding a bike，we can not only exercise our body but also protect our environment。 Why not have a try，my dear friends?

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment, I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides, I will try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom. I think it’s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment, I believe the earth will be a better place。
