As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition will be damaged.
In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution. Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the action of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are being cleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance of protecting the environment.
However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of them have been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the rivers or give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting the environment needs everybody’s effort.
In my memory, though my hometown is a small village, it is very beautiful. When I was small, I liked to caught fish in the river, the water was so clean that I could see the fish. As I miss my hometown so much, last week, I went back to my hometown, I found the place in my memory was not like what it was. The trees were not that numerous, the roads became bigger, while there was less place for the river, I saw some dead fish in the river, the water was dirty, the river pollution was so serious! I couldn’t believe it, the beautiful hometown was destroyed by the pollution, it is people’s ambition results in it, they chase for the profit at the cost of polluting the environment. I wish people can pay attention to protect the environment, they are saving themselves, too.
My View on Reducing Carbon Emission
Every year billion tons of carbon dioxide is added into the air, which in part results in global warming and climate change. Now we are live in the world that is filled with pollution. As far as I am concerned, we should reduce carbon emission.
First, we can adopt different ways to solve the problem if it is convenient for us, such as going to work by bus. There is no doubt that it can cut down the pollution and improve our environment. What’s more, it is cheaper, comparing with other ways. Second, there are different kinds of trees which can absorb carbon dioxide, so we also need plant more trees around us. At the same time, our government should pay attention to take action to improve our living quality.
It is our duty to reduce carbon emission, but it is also a long way for us to achieve it. No matter how hard the condition will be, I think if we try our best together. Maybe the problem can be solving someday, because carbon emission is a focus of the world.

For example,we can reduce the amount of fuel vehicles or close down high polluting loping green and energy-saving energy can lower the emission of but not least, People should do personal need to reduce the time for outdoor sports and pay attention to rest in smog yone all over the country should take measures to reduce the smog weather. We can use more public transport such as the bus and the underground so that the number of cars will be ,people should plant more trees. Mankind has only one earth, it is the natural resource that human beings depend on, and people want to live a happy and beautiful life, they must protect the natural environment consciously and cherish the earth.

The weather will get hot and dry. The whole earth will become a big desert. A lot of plants and animals will s will not grow anywhere. Life will be difficult for everyone. The human beings will be punished for their forest-destroying activities.
Therefore, we should realize the importance of taking care of our forests. We should do our best to protect our living environment and keep our mountains green,the water clean, and the sky blue.
We have to admit that, paratively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries. There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai.
We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green enviromnent can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. In my opinion，to protect environment，the government must take even more concrete measures. First，it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second，much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice，because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally，those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.
