I have lunch at 12: the afternoon,We have a go to the playground and play sports.

I go to school from Monday to Friday. We have Chinese and math everyday. We have three English classes every week--on Monday , Wednesday and Friday.

Wednesday is my favorite day. Because we have computer and music. And we have potatoes for lunch. Potatoes are my favorite food. On weekends we have no classes. I usually read books and watch TV. 各位家长：

上午好，很高兴能有这样一个机会，能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是本班的英语老师，我姓刘。下面我就我们英语学习方面简单的说一下：

在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师读单词，读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象，学生认为自己常常被老师提问，认为自己能够回答老师的问题，于是认为自己的英语学得很不错，自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢？学好英语，不外乎就是在听、说、读、写这些方面下功夫。

首先说一下听，每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带，可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带，有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的，根本就没有听过。光靠上课听一点点的磁带，学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说，不能说英语就白学了。每上完一次课，我都叫学生回家要跟磁带读，可是有多少学生真地做到了呢？所读的知识已经学过了，跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能

力，要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音，从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。 接下来是说，英语学了就是要说，要和别人交流。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生，激发他们说英语的积极性，大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多，对每个人来说，说的`机会就少。所以下课也要说，放学回家也要说。在学校，我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去，这样有更真实的情景，更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里，希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语，也许你会说你自己也听不懂，请不要这样想，其实学生需要是你的鼓励，你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句，他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂，或者还可以让学生反过来教你，他们会觉得很自豪，因为自己所学得派上了用场。

接下来是读。学英语要培养语感，也就是语言的感觉，如果有很好的语感，那么不管是说话，做题目，都很轻松，很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢？就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯，请你一定要督促他，刚开始也许会比较难，时间久了，就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样，要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。

最后是写。五年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记，所以要不断的背，不断的翻新，这是没有办法的。我要

求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写，嘴巴和手都要动起来，嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型，五年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文，多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况，还要让他重视句子的重要性。

总而言之，请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习，让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些，祝愿各位家长身体健康、万事如意。谢谢！
