Nowadays，more and more people，especially the young，are crazy about improving their appearance。They spare no efforts in changing their out-looking by various means。With the development of modern science and technology，plastic surgery has stepped into our life。Like a magician，it turns a ugly duck into a beautiful swan。

When it comes to plastic surgery，there has sprung up a heated discussion。Some people hold that it is necessary for our life。However，others argue that it is harmful and risking。In my opinion，I am in favor of appropriate plastic surgery。There are several reasons supporting my view in the following shows。First of all，good-looking can please oneself。In addition，it adds self-confidence。What’s more，let a person be proud of himself。Last but not the least，good appearance can make you become more popular and increase the chances of success。

I know it well that good-looking is not the major determining factor to one’s success，but there is no denying that it sometimes helps to some extent，especially nowadays。
