在东方城的英语班，老师的要求非常的严格，要我们默单词，背课文。一开始，我非常的不适应，经常被老师留下来，背书背不出来，经常像挤牙膏一样，老师提醒一句，我背一句。默写也会错很多，在默写的时候，我不会，好多都空着，而且左看看右看看，希望抄到一些答案，结果要重新默写。爸爸妈妈也很担忧我的.现状，于是，他们教给我了一种学习方法，让我每一天早上一起来，就打开复读机听英语，之后我发现，听着听着，我就把一课背了下来，现在，不仅我会背老师教过的一课，而且还会背诵老师还没有交的课文呢！这样，我就良性循环，越来越好了。在星期六的时候，老妈会对我的单词进行检查，把不会背的单词用红笔圈出来，一直反复检查，直到我会了为止，这样，我在上英语班时再也没有抄过别人的答案，而且正确率明显提高了。上英语班时，有一些不会背书的同学拿着书在拼命的记忆，可是最终的结果还是不会背而像我这样会背的，则拿着书在那儿无所事事，直到老师叫我背为止。
从这次上英语班的经历，我懂得了一个道理：“只要掌握了好的学习方法，让自己走在前面，那你的成绩就会越来越好，反之，不做作业，阴天拖稻草，越积越多，你的成绩不可能好，所以要在任何方面走在别人的前面，你就会做出最好的自己，使自己的优点全部发扬光大。”
